Welter, 5302 Pistakee drive, McHenry, completed a sixteen week officer rotary wing Robert Sindler, Darnell Jones and James Mara of McHenry recently enlisted in the U.S. Army at the Army recruiting Station, Woodstock. They enlisted under the new "2 years Regular Army Enlistment Program." This program allows for a better training assignment for those young man who desire a two-year enlistment. Sfc. Bob Wells went on to say that this two-year enlistment is available - to women also. Robert Sindler is a gradate of McHenry high school and his parents resfde in McH&u$htecently he visited His brother who was at the time stationed in Alaska with the US Army. Darnell Jones is a graduate of McHenry high school and attended college before he enlisted. He hopes to continue his college while in the Army through the seven educational programs fdr active duty, Army personnel and the G.I. bill after completion of his service. Jones' parents reside in McHenry. James Mack is a graduate of McHenry high school and before enlistment resided in Antioch. Jonathan Nolan was recently enlisted in the U.S. Army by Sfc. Bob Wells at the Army recruiting station, Woodstock. Nolan enlisted under the Band 'assignmentprogram, f After .taking complete mental and phsical testing to qualify for the assignment he wanted, Nolan chose the 5th Army Band at Fort Sheridan, with duty as , a saxophone player.
