Such was the case when Jack Nickolson was caught stealing junk from the former blacksmith shop owned ' by Adam Ibsch. Since Mr. Ibsch has discontinued his work at the shop the place had been rented by a Jewish junk dealer and used as a Store house. It would often contain a valuable amount of iron, aluminum and copper. The owner of the contents of the building has known for some time that much of his stuff was being stolen. Monday night Marshal Jack Walsh received i a tip that the thief was at work in the shop. Arming himself with a double barrel shot gun, Marshal Walsh and a few others went to the building and caught Nickolson with about fifty dollars worth of junk already on Ms truck.
