CRYSTAL LAKE, ILLINOIS cHENRY I !• impersonal bankruptcies, according to a national newsmagazine, are "an alarming new nationwide phenomenon." A bankrupt condition doesn't descend like lightning. It has recognizable stages. The first is when the individual or family senses that it is overspending but doesn't bother to learn precisely where it stands. * The second stage comes when current obligations cannot be completely met and there is urgent need of cash. The third is when the customary sources of money and goods are closed because of financial insolvency. The best way to prevent bankruptcy is first to take stock and then to plan a financial future that includes the buildup of cash reserves through savings. M M| 1 li S i|l!B!8ilf|ll!!i!lS!
