Cosponsors of the marker are the Illinois State Historical society and the Springfield Airport authority. The Chamber of Commerce of Springfield first arranged to have the airport located about four miles north erf the city, but Charles A. In the other, dairy formers who produce, milk under the Chicago regional order will cast ballots on the deletion of eight Indiana counties from the Chicago order. The Indiana counties formerly constituted the Northwestern Indiana milk market order area. They were placed under the Chicago order when it became effective July 1, this year. The department now recommends they be put in the Indiana order where several dairy farmer cooperatives which serve the area and Purdue university economists have insisted they should be. Ballots are now ed to dairy farmer cooperaS^ tives, which will bloc vote, and to independent dairy fanners who will vote indtviduuftr, ity was learned today. Hie deadline for returning the ballotlfcV reportedly is Dec. 19. Presumably the baUottng -flip both referendums wiU place concurrently. A two-third fovorable vote/;; of dairy farmers is necf$ssut£^ to put the Indiana order intoef-' feet.
