The meeting waft opened with the fiag ceremony given by patrol three. The troop then split into patrols and attendance was taken and dues were collected. Refreshments were served by patrol 4. Work was completed on our parents' Christmas gifts. Three Cadettes from troop 41, Debbie Schabow, Sherrie Landen and Donna Humann came to the meeting and taught us some new songs. Jack's Team ended up with sole possession of the cellar with 11-21. ; Turkey winners were Roy Apel with a high scotch series of 580 and Pat Butler with high scratch of 469. The handicap winners were Jerry Rogers with 644 and Petey Oakford with 629, Pat Butler took over the , high scratch series with her 469over Karen Crook who had held the position till now with 467. Jerry Rogers is tied with Roy Apel for high handicap position with 644. The line-up for bowling on Dec. 28 is on alleys 1 and 2 the Bugs and Bierman's Bombers. On 3 and 4 the Ten Pins vs. Jack's Team. The Crooked Cranes and the Pandas are slated for 5 and 6. BIRTHDAY GREETINGS : Larry Lamberg will be fifteen on Dec. 27. The twenty-eighth is birthday day for Johnny Flatanigan and twins, Pam and Paul Zimny, who will be thirteen and for Jim Wickenkamji, Dennis Kozicki celebrates on the twenty-ninth with Wally Kuhns and Michael Krasucki who will be nine. Ed Peters will be twelve on the thirtieth and the last birthday of the year will be celebrated by Matty Rogers who will be six years old. John Zimny is .home from the Air Force Academy for the holidays as are all the rest of the college students, who hopefully left the flu bu| at school. Chicken pox sufferers include Cheryl Hansen and Michelle Fish and the flu has hit justt about everywhere. Get well to everyone, wherever you are, and what ever you have! A surprise party was given for the Kroenings who are moving from our town after so long to Fish Lake. Ind. The group gathered at the Meurers on Wednesday evening last week to wish them bon voyage and good luck in their new home. It was such a well kept surprise that Bob was on his way to Indiana with - a load of furniture and things and missed the doings altogether. John Meurer celebrated his tenth birthday at Grandpa and Grandma Meurer* s last Sunday and then everyone got their Christmas presents a few days early. Makes it fun to have Christmas last so many days. Bev Hansen* s brother, Robert Hestroffer, is home, on leave from the Army before leaving for a tour of duty in Germany. Judy and Ray Widhalm had it socked to them. The old flu bug that is. Nasty thing. Both of them were pretty sick, but hopefully the Worst is over by now. Think that's all for how.
