Sec. 2. Ai\y person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in Article VIII, Section 1, shall be ' guilty of a misdemean­ or, and on conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount not ex­ ceeding two hundred ($200.00) dollars for each violation. Kach day in which any such vio­ lation shall continue shall be deemed a sep­ arate offense. Sec. 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be­ come liable to the City of McHenry for any ex­ pense, loss, or damage occasioned the City of Mcllenry by reason of such violation. ARTICLE IX VALIDITY Sec. 1. All ordinances or parts * of ordinances in con­ flict herewith are here­ by repealed. Sec. 2. The invalidity of any section, clause, • sen­ tence, or provision of this ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other part of this ordin­ ance which can be given effect without such in­ valid part or parts. ARTICLE X ORDINANCE IN FORCE Sec. I. This ordinance shall be in full force and ef­ fect from and after its passage, approval, re­ cording, and publication as provided by law.
