This service will be available to one million tax payers in the Chicago district. NEW FORM - In comparisior. with last year's form, taxpay ers will find the new Form 1040 more convenient to pre pare. The instructions have been printed separately, elim inating and confusing number ing system of last year. The schedules have been printed back-to-back. In the 1860's, skiers slid down the mountain slope there on Sun days, riding up again aboard the mine's chain line ore buckets. U4995 » MM wtium How was the fish, sir?' CIGARETTES NO. 4 If You Must Smoke Deeper puffs are less harm ful taken right after lighting up, and not when almost fin ished. The butt contains about' twice the amount of tar as that up front. In addition, smoke more leisurely, taking fewer and shorter puffs. Avoid inhaling because the most objectionable feature of smoking occurs when smoke condensates on and irritates the bronchial membranes. A well-known New York chest surgeon'Dr. Alvin Barach, of fered a plan that sounds logical. Noninhalers usually draw smoke into the motith and promptly blow it out. He sug gests closing the lips after drawing in the smoke and in haling thru the nose. When this is done, the air goes into the lungs, while the smoke remairfs in the mouth. The lips are opened and the smoke is ex haled. The CANCER SOCIETY says '•OVER 100,000 DOCTORS HAVE QUIT SMOKING." DO THEY KNOW SOMETHING WE DON'T? It is the earnest hope of BOLGER's DREG STORE that this series on cigarettes has been of some service to you, our customers. If you really want to quit smoking - CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN - if a prescription of any kind is called for - remember BOL GER'S DRUG STORE... 1259 N. Green...Phone 385-4500.
