MARCH 10, 1971 r' ose On March 2, enrollment in McHenry Chapter 1348 was held for Beverly Havemann and Mar-. ilyn Vidas, sponsored by Mar- cella Strossner; Kathy Shaugh- nessy, sponsored by Millicent Ladouceur; and Louise Wil- moth, sporisored by Judy BaUew. The Mid-Winter conference, with Crystal Lake as hostess chapter, was Sunday, March 7, at the Moose home at 49 Woodstock street, Crystal Lake. Included in the conference were the chapters of Belvidere, Harvard, Crystal Lake, Wau- conda, Woodstock and McHenry. Marguerite Rakow, of Crystal Lake, is the conference lea der. Chapter places in the pro gram were: Opening, Belvidere; Balloting, Woodstock; Enroll ment, Harvard; Mooseheart En dowment Fund, Wauconda; Closing, McHenry. McHenry's Senior regent, Eileen Hodgson, addressed the Junior grad ate regents. Formals and caps and gowns were worn by all members planning to take part in the ritual. Our next meeting, on March 16, will be our Green Cap night, in honor of Junior Grad uate Regent Carolyn Sima. Car olyn has worked hard this past year, doing her part to insure that the chapter received its honors. As her year as a 'lady- in-waiting' draws to a close we take this opportunity to ac knowledge her receiving her green beanie, signifying that she is completing the requirements for entrance into the College of Regents. Chapter members have been invited to the following green cap meetings: Monday, March 15, in Elkhorn, Wis., a spe cial invitation to Carolyn Si ma to serve as guest assistant guide; Thursday, March 25, at the DesPlaines chapter, where Carolyn has been asked to be an escort; Wednesday, April 21, at WaukeganChapter 792, where Carolyn is invited to serve as guest treasurer. All these meetings are formal andRSVP, so contact Ila Hogan if you plan to attend. The quarterly report has been issued and we are proud to an nounce that Ila Hogan has re ceived her first star as the chapter's recorder. The annual payer's dinner will be held Tuesday, March 30, 3$ 7 p.m. Due to the large num ber of members who pay an nually, it has become necessary . to limit the dinner to annual ^ pilfers only: it* is RSVP and ila Hogan, dinner chairman, must know by March 25 if you plan -to attend. There will not be a ' 'fifth Tuesday" meeting on that evening. The 'be an angel' member- , ship drive ends March 31. An angel charm is given for spon soring two affiliated candidates for membership, and a musical j5 angel charm for a total often candidates; however, candi- r dates must be enrolled by March 31 to qualify. Any sponsor who has a candidate eligible for membership should encourage immediate enrollment. A bulletin from Mooseheart states that in keeping with the recent fashion changes, dressy pants suits, in good taste, may be worn at chapter meetings and social affairs by co-work ers sitting on the sidelines. Members taking part in ritual must wear floor length dinner formals at chapter night pro grams and street dresses for chapter business meetings. Collegians may not wear pants suits when wearing caps and gowns. While members who wear pants suits may not pro- tem for the ritual they may par ticipate in the balloting, endow- McHENRY HOSPITAL Patients admitted to McHen ry hospital this past week in cluded Carol Carlson, William Neilson, Jr., Henry Tapaninen, Jr., Robin Moore, Mary Lou Knapp, Anton Schmitt, Laurie Rother, Carl Engman, Sandy Lively, Barbara Pogar, Viola Etchingham, Cassandra Drew, Alexander Niemec, Tiffany Ann Reid, Betty Jo Sawey, Debor ah Herdrich, Christina May, Owen Charrey, Warren Weber, George Richard, Sr., Lloyd% Wagner, Michael Lennon, Mc Henry; Thomas McCullough, Daniel Krick, Roseanne Maul- chin, Island-Lake; Floyd How- ton, Ringwood; Roger Aldridge, Anna Holan, Spring Grove.
