CHAMPIONSHIP By Fred Kusch Coach Ken Ludwig's Warrior basketball team travels to Sycamore, 111., Friday and Saturday Nov. 26, 27 to par- icipate in the 1971 edition of the annual "King Korn" Holiday Basketball tournament. The Warriors will face stiff op­ position as they take on DeKalb high school in first round play. The game will start at 1:30 in the afterrtoon at the Sycamore high school in Sycamore, 111. Come out and support the Warriors as they open the new season. (The tourney pairings and other game times are in­ cluded in today's edition.) Sophs Play In , Kaneland Tourney Coach Gary Collins and his sophomore stalwarts also begin their '71-'72 campaign this coming holiday weekend as they travel to Kaneland, 111., to compete in the Kaneland Holiday Sophomore basketball tournament. REHBERG Mrs. Marie C. Rehberg, 78, of 4910 W. Hubbard street, Chicago, died Sunday, Nov. 21, at' the Woodstock Residence. Mrs. Rehberg was born in Oak Park,Nov. 15, 1893. Her husband, Edward Louis, died April 10, 1969. She is survived by a son, Louis, of Lakeland Park; four grand­ children and eight great­ grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at 10 o'clock Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic church, with burial in the church cemetery. The body rests at the Peter M. Justen & Son chapel after 2 o'clock Tuesday. HERBERT HOWORKA, JR. The Plaindealer has received word of the death Nov. 8 of Herbert F. Howorka, Jr., of California following many years of poor health. He died in the V.A. hospital in Long Beach. Mr. Howorka, 47, was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Chicago. He and his wife, Barbara, resided for thirteen years in the Wonder Lake-Woodstock area. They returned here in Sep­ tember for a visit, during which time Mr. Howorka fell and was badly injured. His condition continued to grow worse after his return to California. Besides his wife, he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert F. Howorka, Sr., of Oceanside, Calif., and a sister, Louanne, of Friendswood, Texas. Graveside services were held Nov. 11, with burial in Sawtelle, Veterans Administration cemetery, West Los Angeles, Calif.
