J Ken Ludwig's Cagers Enter Holiday Meet BY Fred Kusch Ken Ludwig's MCHS cagers will play in the 20th Annual Fox Valley Holiday Tournament starting on Monday Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. The Tournament will be held at Batavia H.S. in Batavia, Illinois. The Warriors first opponents will be a tough York- ville H.S. contingent. The Warriors haven't had too much luck in recent years at this tourney and hope that good fortune will be with them this year. Come on out and cheer the Warriors on to a tourney victory! The Trojans were unable to put the ball in the basket at certain times and Wauconda went on to win by 11 points. Then Thursday, Dec. 9, the Trojans played host to Montini. This game has always been a big rivalry and Thursday was no different. Jim Burke took the opening tip and went in for the score. The momentum carried the Trojans on to a 40 to 36 victory. Joe Knaack put on a show of his own and led all scorers with 19 points. Brian Lund did a superb job on the boards and picked off 15 rebounds. The Trojans are now 2 and 2 on the year. Their next game will be next Tuesday against Hickory Hill played at Hickory Hill.
