Ever try to swap problems? People can always solve them all, except their own. ANNA KUEMMEL Mrs Anna Kuemmel, 79, died Tuesday, March 28, in her home at 1007 Watts avenue, Spring Grove. She was born May 2, 1892 in Chicago and had been a resident of Spring Grove for the past 3 years. Among her survivors are her son, Raymond, of McHenry; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Edward Becker, with whom she made her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, a daughter, Violet Becker, and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at St. Bede's church with in terment in Crystal Lake Union cemetery. The body rested at the K.K. Hamsher funeral home. MELANIA BOTT Melania Bott, 89, of 404 S. when he noticed the Crago auto making a left turn. At the same time, a car driven by Lois VI. Chappell of 509 Front street, McHenry, came into the intersection and they collided. Mrs. Chappell stated she was south-bound on Front street and was proceeding through the green traffic light when the Crago vehicle turned in front of her. She was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision. PLAINDEALER PHOTO ADELAIDE PATZKE Mrs. Walter (Adelaide) Patzke, 68, of 5109 W. Fountain lane, McHenry, died Wed nesday, March 29, while enroute for an Easter visit with her son in Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Patzke stopped at a service station off the Chicago tollway for directions, and it was there she collapsed and died. Mrs. Patzke was born Sept. 6, 1903, in Chicago. She had resided in this community for about eleven years. , Dedicated to helping others, she devoted much time and energy to keeping the program at the Pioneer Center for the Exceptional in existence during the early days, before financial aid was available. She also worked at McHenry hospital. Mrs. Patzke was an active member of Zion Lutheran church. Survivors are her husband, Walter, two sons, Benjamin Carney of Verona, Pa., and Dr. James Carney, professor of Philosophy at Tempe university, Tempe, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
