He is here on $ visit from California. Mrs. Mary Kantorski took part in a fashion show, was loads of fun I understand. I have received many phone calls concerning, thoughtless persons fishing in the lake. The State of Illinois has stopped the stocking ,of any private lakes such as ours through the use of state funds. We must protect and care for the present fish population by the cooperation of ALL property owners around the who either benefit or utilize our fine lake. Please do not fish in our lake or permit others to fish until notification that the present fish population has reached a mature and reproducible status. You will be notified when the lake has achieved this status. This in formation was in a letter sent to most residents. Please do not fish until you are notified, honestly the wait will be well worth your while. The last complaint of the week concerns the throwing of trash on other people's property. A number of records were carelessly tossed in the front yard of a woman who is known to keep one of the prettiest yards in the village, she immediately picked up the records and properly disposed of them. Shame kids, this woman is probably over six times older than you, why not put your energy to good use? Hickory Drive is a mess with papers and pop cans thrown about, help keep your village clean, please. Don't some of the roads in the village look great? Lots of improvement right. Please kids watch out for the heavy road equipment, it |s hard for the drivers to see you so take care. we love you kids, don't want any of you hurt.
