The play will be presented in Wartburg auditorium, Nov. 9, 10 and 11. Tuft is the son of Harry A. Tuft of 1122 W. River Terrace drive, McHenry. The drama deals with the early troubled years of a budding poet of Avon, England, whose ultimate destiny will prove far greater than his youthful hopes can conceive. The play supposedly is about the life of William Shakespeare when he was a young man in Stratford. However, since only fragments of the poet's life are actually known, "A Cry of Players" is playwright Gib son's fictionalized creation, perhaps based on published conjecture. Curtain times for the production are 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9 and 8:15 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10- 11. Tickets can be secured or reserved at the college swit chboard at Carthage or pur chased at the box office prior to each evening's performance. SUCCESSFUL DANCE The McHenry Knights of Columbus recent dinner dance was pronounced a huge suc cess. Arnold May acted as master of ceremonies and Vince Adams entertained with his ukelele and humorous songs. Mr. Adams also ac cepted, on behalf of the council, the very impressive Star Council award presented by the worthy state advocate, Joseph Mamba.
