Present Fashion Tips At 4-H Feb. 12 Workshop Pat Sullivan, McHenry county Home Economics Extension adviser, has an nounced a 4-H Fashion Tips, Dress Revue and Clothing workshop Monday, Feb. 12. It will be held at Miner Junior high school, 1101 E. Miner, Arlington Heights fromi to 3:30 p.m. 4-H members enrolled in clothing construction projects look to professionals for their experiences and knowledge in working with various fabrics construction techniques, etc. Workshops such as this one afford those opportunities to 4- H members. Included in the afternoon program will be a represen tative of a Charm school. She will present ideas on grooming, modeling and coordinating a wardrobe. She will also show how to use accessories to give a dress or slack outfit a dash of flare. In addition, Mrs. Susan Pletsch, a fashion consultant from San Francisco, will present the excitement of sewing today using the latest techniques. This special 4-H event is coordinated by Mrs. Shirley McCann, assistant Extension adviser, Home Economics, for Cook county. 4-H Leaders, members and their parents are invited to attend. Registration, shall be unlawful tor any per 70 Fathers, Daughters Legal Notice Take February Campout Lake Region YMCA Dancing Water's Nation chief, Richard Smith of Crystal Lake, has announced that seventy fathers and daughters have registered for the Feb. 10 and 11 campout. The fathers, with daughters in first, second and third grade will go to George Williams college in Williams Bay, Wis., for the campout. The campout will begin on Saturday at 1 p.m., with registrations being accepted by the Miami tribe. Campers will enjoy outdoor hiking and winter sports, such as ice skating, tobogganing and sledding, until 5 p.m., when indoor games will be conducted by the Pawnee tribe. Supper will be at 6 p.m., followed by songs led by the Kaskaskia tribe, crafts by the Apache dancers, skits by any tribe that would like to try, and refreshments served by the Lake Region Y's Men's club. The little braves will retire at 8:30 p.m. The Black Feet have planned a big brave program at 9:30. On Sunday, breakfast will be served at 8 a.m., followed by a short chapel service led by the Kaskaskia tribe. There will be free time for outdoor activities until 11 a.m., when the Pawnee will conduct indoor games. Lunch will be served at 12, followed by tribal and in dividual awards presented by the Sioux tribe. After clean-up, all groups will return to their homes. All first, second and third grade girls in the Lake Region service area are eligible to join this interesting fathers' and daughters' program. Each tribe is composed of six to eight pairs of fathers and daughters. Each tribe meets twice a month on a rotating basis in homes of members. All activities are aimed at providing a closer companionship of fathers and daughters.
