This therapy is given Monday through Fridays at the Easter Seal Therapy center in Woodstock, a county-wide organization^ It only can be carried on because of the generosity of citizens, organizations, businesses and industries as well as donations through a gift or through the campaign funds. It is necessary to meet the expenses of the center, to have all of these avenues of funds coming in to meet the expenses. Glenn Laurent, phsyical therapist at the center, in reviewing the schedule of patients, pointed out that "There are 300 patient visits per month in his department alone. There are set fees for each treatment, however, part pay only what can be af forded." The patient load now is four- fifth adults and one-fifth - children. Patients are seen in their homes if there is no way to get them to the center. Patients are treated only with a prescription from an M.D. or D.O. and physicians are kept in touch with their patients' progress in therapy. Kling, Eatontown, NJ: When I was a tjoy I eagerly looked forward to a Saturday afternoon at the local theatre and the latest thrilling episode of the current serial. I remember in these serials all hereos were tall and silent with curly hair and from two-year colleges with at least 24 hours of transferable credit and a minimum overall grade point of 3.0 on a perfect 4.0 scale. During the current semester 428 students received Bradley university special merit scholarships. broad shoulders All heroines were blonde, shy creatures, with snap ping eyelashes and fully depend* ent on the character and strength of the hero. A must was an old professor who had invented some kind of device or formula, that if ever in the hands of the villan ' would probably mean the end of the world. The villian also fit the established pattern. He had to be dark and have a small black mus- tachc. He always hated the hero with a passion and showed it by his sneers and gestures. His life's work was to get the professor's device and formula and then turn it over to a foreign power. (Send contributions to this column to Tho Old Timer, Box 639, Fronkfort. Ky. 40601.)
