Install New Officers For Girl Foresters The Girl Foresters of St. Agatha Court, No. 777, John- sburg, will have installation of officers and initiation of new members on Monday, April 9, at the Johnsburg Community club from 6 to 8:30. Each family is asked to bring a dish to pass for the pot-luck supper. Mothers willing to help with serving and dishes are welcome to attend. Club Sponsors Luncheon, Card Party For Charity The Pistakee Highlands Women's club will hold its annual luncheon and card party at the V.F.W. hall in McHenry starting at noon April 19. Tickets are available from Mrs. Peter Nielsen. They will also be sold at the door the day of the luncheon. Proceeds will go to charity. Wives and mothers are people who never make a mistake. Marian Central Catholic high school will present "Guys and Dolls" this weekend, April 6, 7 and 8, in the school gym­ nasium. "Guys and Dolls" is a musical fable of Broadway thugs, dolls, saints and sinners. The final preparations for the show have been made-sets are painted, costumes are com­ pleted, musical numbers are being rehearsed and various dances are being chor­ eographed. Colorful set­ tings for the play range from the orange Cafe Cubano to the multicolor streets of Broad­ way. Many of the students in this production ^ have been seen before in other shows at Marian. Waldrop, professor of Military Science at Georgia Tech, presided at commissioning ceremonies recently in which Lawrence Young was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Signal corps. Lt. and Mrs. Young and daughter, Kathy, will make their home in Augusta, Ga., pending his assignment to Camp Gordon, Ga. In a separate commencement ceremony, Lt. Young received his Master's degree in Information and Computer Science. The service was followed by a presentation of diplomas to wives of graduates for patience and forebearance. Dr. Pettit, president of Georgia Tech, gave a reception in honor of the graduates at his home on campus. Lt. Young, a 1967 graduate of McHenry high school, maintained an average of 3.8 out of a possible 4.00 in graduating with honors. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Young of 3717 W.
