Th' un tapped reservoir o' human developement 's unbelievable. . Just think what a wonderful place this ol' world'd be, wi' all th' energies concentrated on good fer humanity, an' love fer fellowman. The dividends'd be so great, wi' all that youthful energy channeled inter the right direction, toward higher cultural developement, it ain't possible t' visualize the goals t' be reached. Technology 's important, but there's a greater goal for man t' reach fer, that involves the spiritual mind, the part o' mankind that can tune in on God's plan, nature, an' the soul o' man. - Seems t' be, that man's become too involved wi th' material things o' life. Th' more he has, th' more he seems t' be worth, in th' eyes o' fellowmen. We need t' teach th' childern that there's greater rewards in bein' fearful o' wrong doin', in put tin hate out o' mind, an' lovin' one's fellermen, instead. They need t' learn t' give, an' not t' take, in all phases o' human relation ship. There's been a lot o' lack o' th' right ingredients inturnin' out our young, an' a lot o' credit's due th' good folk who try t' fill the gaps. Parents need t' know that baby-sitters, an' th' average housekeeper, takin' care o' th' offspring, may ne'er provide th' necessary teachin', that's th' very basis o' what a young child '11 turn out t' be, when grown up. There's been many a littl'un's mind tarnished wi' things learned from th' wrong baby-sitter. It's likened t' takin' care o' garden, 'till it grows strong enough t' o'ercome th' weeds. But if th' weeds aren't plucked out, at time o' th' new growth, they outgrow th' desirable plants, an' soon they're so weakened they become affected by th' blight, an' sich,. they become un desirable, 'r die. A well-brought-up person 's like a well-cultivated garden, a joy t' all who comes in contact wi' it.
