But father, we know your devotion Has made possible mother's care. Our lives would indeed be impoverished, But for your thoughtfulness rare. We know you work hard to provide us With everything we need, And how many times we have failed Your loving counsel to heed. We thank God for you, father, Who guidance to our lives imparts. Tho' you sometimes feel unimportant, Nevertheless you're enshrined in our hearts. Ethel L. Hintz MY FATHER > His was a life That was rich and full In the things that make life sweet. With humbleness, modest pleasures and joys His long life was complete. With his kindly smile and friendliness, His simple philosophy of life. He endeared himself wherever he went „ With youth and age alike. His was a love Of home and kin That was beautiful to see. Where lessons of life by example were taught Both humbly and reverently. His was a faith In God and man That was wholesome and sincere. Calm and serene he faced life's years With never a thought of fear. He has gone from our sight, "God bless him". To his Maker who was his delight. And he leaves a heritage noble indeed For those who would live aright. Ethel L. Hintz MEMORIAL HOSPITAL WOODSTOCK Admittances to Memorial hospital, Woodstock, included Master Scot Paul, Shirleann Krich, McHenry; Sherman Spencer, Wonder Lake; Patricia Smith, Ringwood.
