Lakeland Park ANNE MOORE Four Children In Area Baptized At St Patrick's Sunday, June 10, four children from our subdivision were christened following the 12:15 Mass at St. Patrick's church. Jeffrey Joseph Heuer, son of George and Mary Beth, was one of those children. His Godmother Marie Socha and Godfather Herb Lakemacher were most proud, as were mom and dad. Following the ceremony a buffet dinner was served to approximately twenty-five relatives and friends who gathered to celebrate. Great-grandmother Sophie Andersen and grand parents John and Mae Bertucci were on hand for the happy occasion. Jeffrey's brother, Georgie, and sisters, Kristie and Bethie, were very excited and enjoyed all the attention they received. It was a busy and happy day for the Heuer family. Brother and sister, Dennis and Debra Linn, received the sacrament of Baptism during the same rite. Their godparents are Edward and Judy Stacknick. Mom and dad, Shirley and Dennis, entertained approximately thirty relatives and friends at the community house following the service. A good time was had by everyone on Debra and Dennis' happy day! Little Mara Beth Blum, daughter of James and Mary Beth, was also christened at the same rite. Mom and Dad and little James entertained relatives and friends following the ceremony. Mara Beth's godparents are John Wilms of Schiller Park and Carol Boike from Brookfield. Both sets of grandparents were there to celebrate the happy occasion. With your back to the wind, hold out your left arm and it will point to the cen ter of the weather disturb ance. Why is this true? It's be cause low pressure systems in this hemisphere circle counter clockwise. With your back to the circling (counter clockwise) winds, your left hand extended automatically points to the low pressure center and your right hand will point to better weather. It's a good rule for pilots to remember, on long cross country flights.
