Why cavil and complain When to sing a song Will break for us gloom's fetter? Why worry and fret About days to come If each day we do our best? Let us live serene. Be calm and winsome. And God will take care of the rest. Ethel L. Hintz THE CRY OF LIGHT The chirping of a robin and the drunkenness of a butterfly bounding from flower to flower, touched off by the sun, in its weary and lonesome flight, And seeing how the trees bow with the coming of a summer's breeze, or how the sky builds up with its fluffy whiteness into light-blue grayish to the darkness of that Night... Then, as it has been, in the beginning of our times breaking thru this wall of darkness, do we begin to see the Light and the coming of another new day.
