These people should meet high standards of leadership, responsibility, character and service Especially know your candidates and choose the best person for the job. These new people should be willing to spend a large portion of their time for the benefit of their neighbors. Without everyone's cooperation our progress forward will be hindered. Please come to the beach, August 11, weather permitting or to 5412 Orchardway Drive. Kindly attend as we would like to have residents nominated for the following offices: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary. Become involved because you live in West Shore Beach and become aware of the need for com munity support. At the Sep tember meeting the association will hold the election of those nominated this month. Start now - this is your subdivision. GLASS COLLECTION It was a fine day for the participating ladies of the Women's auxiliary who helped to collect glass and tin at the McHenry Market Place last week. Bonnie Ketchum, Cindy Erickson, Dolores Jaburek and Connie Schmidt worked the morning hours together along/ with Darin Jaburek, Fred SoJj^ midt and Carl Ritter. John Ritzert was of great seryiCe to the ladies by the use of hfs truck for the hauling to Crystal Lake. Also we appreciated the many garbage cans borrowed from our local residents. Keep saving your glass and tin for this month's drive which will be August 25. Properly cleaned and flattened containers are a big help to the operation. Save your newspapers also for the benefit of the McHenry County Defenders. We are all trying to make our environmental concerns known through this worthy cause. Won't you all join us?
