The new members were received by letter of transfer from other Lutheran congregations. A brief service of reception was held within the regular worship setting at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The new members were introduced to the congregation, received certificates of church mem­ bership, and were welcomed by the regular membership. The evangelism committee of the church, under the direction of Mrs. Mirian Miller, will be calling on the new families personally in the near future to present them with various materials from the church and personally welcome them into the fellowship of the church. The new members received include Sandra Ambrose, Valerie Ambrose, Dale Am­ brose, Bruce Ambrose, Hans Gylling, William Moser, Gordon Neuman, Darlene Neuman, Michael Neuman, Ann Neuman, Robbie Neuman, Jonathan Neuman, Karen Robison, Charlene 'Tiffany, Shannon Tiffany, Aleen Tif­ fany, Flynn Tiffany, Cathleen Tiffany, Clarence Wilier and Margaret Wilier. Flasch, Spring Grove, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of can­ nabis, given one week to file for probation. Another charge of possession of controlled sub­ stance was nolle prossed. COMPLAINTS Chief Willard Bychowski of the Spring Grove Police department charges that on Aug. 31, Mirth B. Dilley of 170 Riverside Island, Fox Lake, committed the offense of delivery of cannabis to a person under the age of 18. Notice given to appear in court Oct. 1.
