Mr. Silhan of the Northeastern IUinois planning commission presented the map to the viUage, to be used as a guide in future zoning. The village planning commission will work with Mr. Silhan's assistance, in planning future zoning for this area in regards to these drainage conditions. The map will be posted in the village haU. It was established at the meeting that a permit is not necessary for reshingling a roof, when it is considered as a repair to an existing roof. A reception for the immediate family and close friends of the bride and groom followed the wedding. Gloria is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fer­ nandez, 5009 W. Orchard. Congratulations and best wishes for the future are ex­ tended to Mr. and Mrs. Hillstrom. TICKLED PINK With their new daughter, Nicole Danielle, are Dominic and Mary Tomasello of N. Spring road. Nicole made her appearance, Sunday, Oct. 20, at St. Francis hospital in Evan- ston. She has a big brother, Dominic, who is three years old. And loving grandparents are Dominic Tomasello and Mrs. Virginia Tomasello, and Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Froncek, of Chicago. HALLOWEEN PARTY REMINDER At the beach, Halloween night, 7 p.m. for kids to age 12, who are asked to bring flashlights for the parade to ward off spooks and goblins. There'll be prizes awarded for the best costumes. And the good witches will serve bat's brew and devil's food in the olde haunted hall. A WEDDING IN TEXAS Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vycital of N. Spring Rd., drove to Houston, Texas, last week to attend the wedding of their daughter, Dorene, to Mr. Rudy Ilmberger, of Ingleside who is currently stationed at Camp Hood, Texas. Mrs. Toni Beal, Dorene's good friend rode along with the Vycitals. Another daughter, Sue, who was maid of honor, made the trip by plane with Mike Mc- Donough. The couple was married Oct. 18, at the Harvest Time Tabernacle. A reception was held for twenty-six guests at the Ramada Inn, where many of the guests spent the weekend, including the Vycitals, and the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Ilmberger. Also, former McCullom Lake residents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nerstad, who now live in Alabama. Best man, Hector Chevez caught the bride's garter, and her niece, Dawn, caught the bouquet. Some of the guests attended a pre-wedding dinner at the home of Frank and Elaine Gargaro of Houston. Elaine is Dorene's sister, and she also had a dinner for nineteen guests Sunday night. Rudy had to report back Monday to Camp Hood, where the couple will make their home on base. And it was a leisurely trip home for Mr. and Mrs. Vycital, and Mrs. Beal who did some sightseeing along the way. Thev visited the Astro Dome, N.A.S.A., also the San Jan- ciento Battlefield, and arrived heme Tuesday evening. A PLEASANT VISIT WITH SISTER Mrs. Harriet McNamara spent a pleasant 10 days visiting with her sister, Mrs. Erna Pagel, in Donaldson, Ind, recently. Her son, Richard, drove her there, and her other son, Tom, picked her up and brought her home. Mrs. Mc- Namara and Mrs. Pagel visited various friends in Donaldson, and celebrated Mrs. Pagel's birthday, Oct. 12, with dinner out. YOUTH CLUB Next meeting for the Youth Club will be Sunday, Nov. 4, 7:30 p.m. at the beach house. Kids eight years and over are invited to attend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Little Shawn McBride was 2 years old, Oct. 24. That was also Joe Parsons special day, and Michelle Powers celebrated her eleventh bir­ thday, Oct. 30. Birthday wishes go to Glenn Gates, Nov. 3, Jackie Smith, Nov. 4, and Karl Blom, Nov. 5. McHenry Man Takes Lead In "Pafama Game' A1 Smith of McHennr is featured as the male lead role of "Sid" in "The Pajama Game", to be presented by the Townsquare Players in the Woodstock Opera House Nov. 2, 3, 9 and 10. Smith has worked with the Old Town Players in Chicago, and has been featured in lead mjisical roles for the Indianapolis Footlite club. He has also toured New Jersey resort area in such shows as "Wonderful Town", "Kiss Me'< Kate" and "Call Me Madam". He has recently appeared in concert with his wife, Marlene, and his rich voice is a welcome asset to the Opera House stage. "Pajama Game" opens the Players' sixth season with, once again, a local and all-area cast. This particular cast is one of the most talented and ex­ perienced to date, and as always, they welcome public support. For season tickets, senior citizens, or fund raising, phone 815-675-2066. David Klaslng Heads Illinois Court Association David J. Klasing, director of , the Department of Court,, Services, McHenry county, was elected president of the Illinois.' Probation and Court Services association at the annual, meeting in Rock Island. Klasing assumed his new responsibility Oct. 19 at the closing session of the con­ ference. The Illinois Probation and Court Services Association is composed of probation of­ ficers, supervisors of probation and directors of probation departments in the twenty judicial circuits of Illinois. The association, formed four years ago in Springfield, has grown from forty charter members to over 300 active members. STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS Diane Wood has been elected president, Carl Bender, vice- president and Darren White, secretary, of the Spring Grove School District 11 Student Council. They will provide leadership in the year ahead. There are two representatives from each home room who serve as council members.
