ONE DRIVER INJURED IN ACCIDENT .. (Continued frompage 1) McHenry, was stopped on Valley View waiting for the vehicle in front of her to make a turn when the Hacker auto hit the rear of her car. Hacker stated he didn't anticipate any delay from the turning auto. Paula J. Prentice of 6319 Rt. 31, Ringwood, was taken to McHenry hospital following a two-car crash Friday night at 6:13 p.m. Edith J. Bogdan of 504 N. Lake, Lakemoor, told sheriff's deputies she was making a left turn onto Ringwood road from Orchard drive and failed to see the south-bound Prentice auto. Ms. Prentice made no statement, but a witness who was driving north said he could not see the Prentice auto because there were no head lamps. Ms. Prentice was ticketed. John M. Martinez of 5524 Wonder Woods drive, Wonder Lake, was blamed for an ac cident in which he was injured Sunday morning about 3:55 o'clock. It took place on Rt. J20, near Tia Juana drive. Martinez told deputies he was driving west on the highway about 30 to 40 miles per hour and fell asleep. He awakened as the car traveled off the south side of the road and struck another auto driven by Leslie G. Lagoo, Jr., of Round Lake. Lagoo said he was east-bound and rounded a curve in time, to see the approaching vehicle swerving into his path. Lagoo turned to the right and was almost stopped when his car was struck. Mrs. John Marco of Bull Valley road, Woodstock, and three children, Becky, Berti and Johnny, were taken to Condell Memorial hospital, Libertyville, for treatment of injuries sustained in a two-car accident north of Half Day, Lake county.
