Young Billy Lafontaine of Johnsburg is almost sure to have a merry Christmas in spite of the fact that he seems to be accident prone. The grab bag gifts held many unusual surprises for all the ladies present. However, the men added the needed bit of fun and laughter. Already the second Sunday of Advent has passed and our community as well as other communities is preparing for the special day of Christmas. The word advent is derived from the Latin word advenus, which means to come. The period including four Sundays before Christmas is a momentous occasion in all churches. West Shore Beach is welcoming this holiday with open hearts and open minds. The church is the mother, so as all mothers prepare for birth, our residents will do the same by attending the church of their choice. Let's make this Christmas a real special one.
