There was food galore and plenty to drink and the guests did a lot of dancing, singing and talking over old times. To keep warm you may raise the thermostat. But the higher the temperature the higher your fuel bill. Instead of turning up the thermostat, put some humidity in the air by using a humidifier or by simply putting pans of water out to evaporate. The added moisture will prevent dryness and let you heat com fortably at a lower temperature. For example, for every degree not needed over 68, you can save as much as 3% on your heating biil^And if you keep your therrho^stat set at 68 degrees instead\f 72, you can save over 10% at the lower setting. We have a booklet that covers heating as well as other areas where you can conserve energy. We'll send a copy of "101 Ways to Conserve Electricity at Home' to you free.
