GREEN BELT BILL Illinois State Rep. Donald E. Deuster (R-Mundelein) is in troducing a bill to establish a Green Belt and Open' Space Legislative Study commission of the General Assembly. In face of the accelerated development taking place in Lake county and other metropolitan areas, Deuster believes that the most critical need confronting northeastern Illinois is to preserve open space, green belt areas and agricultural activities in the midst of our urban setting.
