Schneider of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, 404 North Green street, McHenry, represents the Illinois district of the American Lutheran church at a meeting of the Division for Life and Mission in the Congregation, March 4 through 6, at Min­ neapolis, Minn. The meeting involves the personnel from the national offices of the church and representation from each of the eighteen districts of the American Lutheran church. The purpose of the gathering is to allow representatives from the districts of the church to share with the staff members of the national church the local parish needs in the areas of parish education, evangelism, stewardship, worship and youth programming.
