Grandma Scz ••• waitin' fer th' time y come, when self-int'rests take second place, an' spiritual development's emphasized, as th' young grow up. Centuries ha' passed, wi' wise men, a tryin' t' indoctrinate th' societies wi' th' importance o' improvin' man's attitude toward his brother. There must be a greater respect fer th' Creator, an' all th' blessin's we're able t' enjoy. Mankind's been disregardful, t' th' point o' neglectin't' teach th' young th' proper reverence fer their daily bread, let alone all th' wond'ful extras, which, folks from me own generation, an' those who've gone b'fore us, think o', as luxuries. Th' good things h' b'come so commonplace, taken fer granted, an' dissipated wi'out any thought o' guilt. Now, a wish fer a prayerful Easter day, comes from th' heart o' this granny, an' a hope that folks il come t' feel more grateful fer th' privilege o' livin' in God's creation. Happy Easter. In the movie Tom got caught by all those women who pursued him - and amusingly ribald it was. But in the play he just manages to escape (a close squeak each time) and that's funnier.
