Six dumpsters will arrive in the village Friday night and will be removed early Monday morning. These dumpsters are for your convenience to dispose of discarded items such as tree trunks, old furniture, refrigerators with doors removed, stoves and what have you. There is only several restrictions as follows: No raw garbage ' will be accepted, leaves must be in plastic bags and tied securely, all items are to be put into the dumpsters and not next to them, and the dumpsters cannot be filled over the top. The capacity of each dumpster is to be no more than level with the top. Just imagine if the tops were overflowing, during the process of removal of the dumpsters the debris would fall out. Use common sense and if one dumpster is filled go to the next one. The locations are as follows: Orchid Path and Idyl Dell, Kinley and Broadway, Biscayne and Hilltop, Broadway and Sunrise View, one across from the village hall on beach and one at the beach location. All locations will have some type of patrol as to the restrictions set forth above. 'TEENCLUB Secretary Kim Olbinski reports that the teen members have been working hard the past week selling popcorn at the village garage and bake sale, which was very successful thanks to the patronage of the community residents. The club has plans to sell popcorn and lemonade at the men's Thursday night baseball games and hope to receive favorable response from the adults present. Any teenager in tHe teen club may make something for the November bazaar and the proceeds will go into the treasury of the teen club. The membership of the teen club will be limited to 13 through 19 years of age. Any teen that is not now a member that wishes to join can contact president Debi Roberts 385-8932. SOCIAL CLUB NEWS Sande Moyer, President The garage and bake sale was a success! The total amount realized from all three days was $603.04.1 would like to thank those who donated the lovely items and all of the delicious baked goods. Without you there would have been no sale. We also received cash donations from Mr. and Mrs. Mueller and Mr. Newharth. I would also like to, acknowledge the following who gave so much time and energy before, after and during the sale: Gerry Olbinski, Julie Ziemet, Sherri Blue, Mary Ann Zutuat, and Rose Lillegard, who helped clean, price, set up, dismantle and collect donations; Helen Crouch, Rose Lillegard, Alice Lawson, Dee Vogl, Mary Lou Heald, Polly Szerszen, Cathy Szerszen, Bonnie Panerali, Mary Ann Zutuat, Sherri Blue, Janice Borchardt and Linda Kurowski, who helped out as sales people during the sale. Mr. and Mrs. Pogor, Robert Steck, Mrs. Lawson, Mrs. Ramage, Mrs. Buck and Mrs. Crouch supplied tables, brackets and lumber for shelves. Last but not least my thanks to President Bieritz, the Board of Trustees, and Police Chief Buck for the use of the village hall and garage. The first use of the profits will be to purchase the box lunches for the ball game trip. We hope that during the year every resident will be able to participate in one pr moj$, of ; the functions we have planned • It was wonderful to see the faces of so many of our hew residents. To have the help and support not only of the "old timers" but our "new comers" as well makes me feel that you all agree with me, "This is a great place to live." Home gardeners have discovered that there is something really different for their garden, Fi Hybrid Carefree Geraniums. These geraniums aren't like any other you've grown. They bloom midseason and last right up through late hard frost. Carefrees come from Fi Hybrid seed, so they are more disease free. Anybody who has grown regular geraniums late in the season knows how disease can wither regular geraniums. Carefrees are the most floriferous geraniums ever. Planted in full sun (where they should be) they will grow eight or more blooms at one time. And since Care.frees are base- branching, they require no pinching to get more branches. Really Carefree! For the most in a really lovely garden this summer, stop in for Carefrees. They're really different!
