Davis, president of McHenry County college, issued the following statement upon receipt of approval of a sewer agreement by the Crystal Lake Citj council last week. "During the past several weeks we have devoted considerable time and effort in developing the various agreements necessary to provide the college with adequate sewer facilities. With the approval of the Crystal Lake City Council to maintain the sewer line and to assure us of their treatment facilities, we must now secure written easement agreements with the property owners involved and then seek final approval of the college board. / '"The final costs of the sewer tee are estimated at $182 thousand. The college budget will allow for an expenditure of $82 thousand. From the four property owners involved we have been assured of gifts totalling $50 thousand. "Trustee Gerald Smith and I feel confident following several appearances before the Crystal Lake City Council that the Council members' assurance that the city will try to assist the college in meeting the balance of the sewer costs ($50 thousand) will permit us to proceed with less danger of having to dip into the educational equipment funds."
