Another car driven by Barry Pike of 7903 Bliven, Spring Grove, was also hit by Steffan's truck after it bounced off Olson's car. Pike was stopped at the sign when impact occurred. A truck driven by Floyd C. Brennecke of 12712 Pleasant Valley road, Woodstock, collided with another truck driven by Robert Schaefer of 120 E. Lincoln road, McHenry, Friday afternoon at the intersection of Chapel Hill and Lincoln roads, east of McHenry. Brennecke was north-bound on Chapel Hill road when he failed to see the stop sign and traveled through the intersection. Schaefer's truck stopped at the sign and was struck as it pulled out. Brennecke was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign, A school bus-auto accident at the intersection of Route 120 and River road Thursday morning at 7:30 resulted in slight injuries to a Fox Lake man. Wayne S. Flebbe of 138 Eagle Point road, Fox Lake, was taken to McHenry hospital by the McHenry Rescue squad for treatment. No one in the bus was injured. Driver of the bus, Ruth E. Simonson of 518 Kent road, McHenry, was east-bound on the highway and proceeded to turn left onto River road. She did not see the other auto until impact occurred. Flebbe said the bus turned in front of him and he was unable to avoid a collision. K of C Council Will Host Coast Guard Auxiliary The Knights of Columbus, McHenry Council No. 1288, will host the United States Coast Guard auxiliary Thursday, May 23, at 8:30p.m. at theK. of C. hall, 1304 N. Deaths ELLALEVEE A former resident of McHenry for 25 years, Ella Levee, 82, of Chicago, died May 8. She was bom Aug. 14, 1892, and had lived at 2508 Orchard Beach drive, McHenry. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; three sons, George, Walter and Earl; and one daughter, Ethel Reemer, all of Chicago. Funeral services were held May 11 at the Olson Funeral home, Chicago, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery, Evanston. Jack Schaffer, R- Cary, is one of only nine Illinois legislators who have received a perfect rating from the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce for 1974. The rating was based on the legislators' voting records on eleven key bills important to the Illinois business community that were considered during the year.
