Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. Misses Christine Wegener and Rose Tonyan will graduate June 10 from the nurses training course at St. Anthony's hospital, Chicago. During the storm of Sunday night lightning struck the home of Michael Weston in Woodstock, knocking him from a chair and doing some damage to his home. Mr. Weston is the uncle of Miss Ann Frisby. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hobbs and family have moved from Barrington to the Heimer house oh route 20. Mr. Hobbs is employed by the Public Service Co. Mrs. Ben Hiller was seriously burned Thursday evening while preparing supper when her clothing caught fire from the gas stove. She rushed into the yard where her husband and neighbors smothered the flames. Her clothes were nearly burned from her body and her back, hips and hair were burned. Dr. J.E. Wheeler state veterinarian left Sunday night for Kane county, where he will work with headquarters at Geneva. On Memorial Day night the Married Men All Stars met the McHenry softball team in an exhibition game the score showed 10 to 1 in favor of the Married Men All Stars.
