All children first through fourth grade will get a feather for every book they read and the chief will be so pleased with your help. You can earn an extra feather by reading a book about Indians. Attention fifth through eighth graders! If you would like to know more about the Presidents of the United States this reading program is for you. For every book you read you will receive a sticker to apply to an attractive chart giving you the name, political party and the years * each one of our Presidents held office. Don't even wory if he's slow to talk, as long as he seems to understand more and more language as he grows. •Don't try to force toilet train ing. Anderson (R-Ill.) is accepting applications for 1975 appointments to West Point, Annapolis and the Air Force and Merchant Marine academies, it has been announced. Anderson, chairman of the House Republican conference, issued the applications reminder as he extended congratulations to five men from the 16th Congressional district who are graduating from Service Academies this month. Ellen road, McHenry, has been named "Miss Fly Navy". In Navy service since last August, she has been stationed at San Jose, Moffett field, Calif., and just this past week earned her third blue stripe as seaman. She is assistant photo editor for the Moffett News. A graduate of McHenry high school in 1972, she joined the Navy for four years' duty. This week she was scheduled to go to Hawaii on assignment.
