LICHARD Spring Grove Couple Wed In Afternoon Rite St. Peter's Catholic church, Spring Grove, was the scene of a pretty afternoon summer wedding Saturday, May 25, when Mary Kay May and Nick G. LiChard repeated their nuptial vows before the,Rev. John Kilduff in a double ring nuptial ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond W. May, Sr., of 7920 Bellevue, Spring Grove, and her bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gerstung of 7619 Asbury court, Spring Grove. Mrs. Charles (Jane) Regnier of Richmond attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Diane LiChard, the groom's sister and Diana Sutton of Spring Grove. Little Lisa May of McHenry, the bride's niece, was flower girl. Peter LiChard of Spring Grove, served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were William Farmer of Pell Lake, Wis. and Randy Nimsgern of Spring Grove. Little David Stoxen of Trevor, Wis., the groom's nephew, served as ring bearer. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Peter's church hall for 150 friends and relatives. When the newly weds return from their honeymoon trip, they plan to make their home at 1919 Main street, Spring Grove. The bride is a graduate of Richmond-Burton high school, Richmond, and is nqw employed at Rae Motors, McHenry. Fergen and Mr. Mark A. Hansen. Father Joseph Kulak officated at the service, for which the church was decorated with two pedestal altar vases of floral arrangements. Carnations marked the pews. The Woodstock Summer Theatre festival is scheduling a children's adaptation of Shakespeare's delightful play "A Midsummer Night's Dream", to be performed Aug. 9, 10, 16-18, at the Woodstock Opera House. The children's version of this classic fantasy fairy tale brings a little bit of everything to the stage: music, dance, verse, and wild, enchanting costumes and set. Preparation for the production will commence with the start of daily acting classes, conducted at the Opera House, beginning on June 17 and continuing through Aug. 9. The cast for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be chosen specifically from the group of students who are enrolled in Uie summer classes, thus making the* production almost entirely based in an age group of 16 years 6r younger. Directing the play will be Dean Button, from the Goodman School of Drama, who is head of : the Woodstock Jamieson of Crystal Lake, his brother - in - law; Larry Fergen, brother of the bride, Guy Hansen, brother of the groom, and Joe Trexler, a close friend. Randy Fergen, the bride's brother, was the offertory gift bearer. Mrs. Fergen selected for her daughter's wedding a light green, floor length dress and wore a small white orchid corsage with baby's breath. Mrs. Hansen was attired in a light blue, floor length gown with the same type corsage. A rehearsal dinner was held Friday evening for twenty guests at the Moose lodge, where a reception for 200 was enjoyed following the nuptial service. Mrs. O'Leary, a delegate to the national convention in San Francisco, reported on the week of frantic activity. The convention adopted an action program on environmental quality, land use, human resources, international relations, representative government including the executive branch, and an energy task force. The bylaws were changed to admit men to full voting membership. Hie principals were amended to call for open governmental meetings and records. The convention urged expedition of the impeachment process, additionally urging President Nixon's complete cooperation. .
