(GAYLORD PHOTOGRAPHY) LaLeche League Sets Topic For June 12 Meeting The monthly meeting of the LaLeche League will be held Wednesday, June 12, at 8 p.m. The topic will be "Techniques Used in Breastfeeding". League members say that although many mothers who have nursed a baby or tried to do so, know that it is the natural way to feed a baby, it does not always happen naturally. Problems, they say, sometimes do occur and unless they are handled properly can end the nursing relationship between the mother and baby prematurely. The philosophy of LaLeche League is good mothering through breastfeeding. Members meet to give each other advice and encourage ment in the field of mothering. Recently, many new members have joined the chapter. Anyone needing information on breastfeeding should call for individual help or information about the meetings. They may call Mrs. Richard (Marcia) McGowan or Mrs. Robert (Julie) Jessup.
