STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD A bright, exciting 1974 dairy banquet is anticipated this year, because the June 27 event at Woodstock Moose lodge will mark the twentieth anniversary of dairy product promotion through the McHenry County Dairy Promotion council. The banquet will start at 7 p.m. with the presentation of the seven candidates for McHenry County Dairy Princess. Lynn Tomlinson, reigning Dairy Princess, will help with the festivities as the candidates are escorted by a representative of their sponsoring organization. The candidates with sponsors include: Ellen Gardner, 17, escorted by Dave Gardner, McHenry County Young Farmers committee. Mary Patricia Killeen, 18, escorted by Allan Ainger, Northeast Illinois Production Credit association. Linda Sue Rich, 17, escorted by Ervin Walters, McHenry County Farm Bureau. Smith and Edgerton served as secretary-treasurer in addition to their duties as executive secretary of Farm Bureau from 1954 to 1973. Women's Club In Organization Change Presidents or a representative of all the Woman's clubs in McHenry county met Wednesday morning at the home of the county treasurer, Mrs. Arnold (Eleanor) Storrs in Solon Mills, to determine the status of the County Federation as a part of the redisricting. Father Mueller officiated at the 1 o'clock afternoon nuptial rite in a church decorated with bouquets of daisies and white roses. Special music included "Wedding Song" and "Day by Day". Miss Vycital is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Vycital, Sr., of 2809 N. Spring road, McHenry. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McDonough of Lake Como, Wis. Miss Vycital was charming in a white nylon mist and alencon lace dress and a Juliet cap with veil attached. Her bouquet was of white daisies, gardenias and stephanotis. With her bouquet she carried a wedding rosary which she borrowed from her bridesmaid, Cathy Humann. The necklace she wore was a gift from the bridegroom, and she also wore a bracelet which belonged to her great- grandmother. Acting as her attendants were Marlene Unders of Ormond Beach, Fla., as maid of honor, Cathy Humann of McHenry, Dorene Ilmberger, her sister, of Northlake, 111., and Gail McDonough of Lake Como, the bridegroom's sister, as bridesmaids. The flower girl was Ellen Spalding of Alsip, 111., niece of the groom. Usherettes were Donna Humann and Mary Humann of McHenry. In the rainbow wedding, dresses were in pastel green, pink, peach, blue and orchid of dotted Swiss. They wore white picture hats with daisies and matching ribbons. Each carried a basket of daisies with old fashion flowers and rainbow-colored ribbons cascading from the baskets. Richard Chaplewski of Lake Geneva, Wis., served as best man. Groomsmen were David Puchinsky, Thomas McDonough, a brother, of Crystal Lake and Daniel Tenhagen of Burlington, Wis. Four generations Mr. and Mrs. William G. Kruger, Sr., were honored at a dinner party June 16 to celebrate their sixtieth wedding anniversary, the date of which was June 13. Friends, relatives and immediate family attended the joyful occasion which took place at Collin Kelly's AMVETS hall in Chicago. A wedding cake with their wedding picture adorning the top centered the table. One of the highlights of the evening occurred when family and friends presented to them a program and book of "lliis is your life, Ann and Will Kruger".
