CLASS REUNION Don Huff and his missus of Wonder Lake were among the alumni who gathered last Saturday night for the annual Richmond Burton alumni dinner dance at Twin Lakes, Wis. The Classes of 1939, 1949 and 1974 were especially honored. Attending from the Class of '49, in addition to the Huffs were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Barber, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Elfmann, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stanfel, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Vogel and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Siedschlag. A lot of reminiscing went on about the days of corn stalk parties and cooking classes and a glance down the dinner table saw many handkerchiefs wiping away tears of laughter. It was a n|ght of good fun with good friends and a looking forward to the next reunion. New Radiological Monitors Finish Defense Course McHenry county now has eleven trained radiological monitors. The course was sponsored by McHenry County Civil Defense and instructed by its radiological defense officer, John Scarbrough. The course was originally designed to train the individual to measure the levels of radiation in the event of a nuclear war. Director John Shay, McHenry County Civil Defense, said that the course has been altered to include instructions on how to respond in the event that the radioactive material that is being transported through and over the county daily becomes involved in an accident.
