Some<ne asked me, do you really know Jesus? I replied all His wonders about me I see. O! yes. I can say that I know Him In the proof that He really knows me. Yes I know my God and my Maker, His gentle shoulder I have leaned upon. He has helped me to fight many battles And the Victory I have always won. The odds were against me so often It seemed to be such a losing race. But I kept thinking around the next corner Perhaps I'll meet Him face to face. For His love is so warm in its rapture To forgive is the one saving Grace. And it matters not whatsoever Your color, your creed or your race. _ All He asked is to love one another To do just His bidding and will. And thit* world that surrounds you is yours, If you Iwjt listen and follow His will. So Of course 1 know my Savior, I commune with Him every day. How else would I ever have His word In the truth that He sends my way? How then would fsee the glory Of His handiwork on high? How else could I count a million stars On a moon drenched cloudless sky? How else would I know the road The one that my Savior trod? How then would I know the sweet story If I didn't commune with God? How would I know the message He sends Words of Love and Faith and Peace? How then would my soul ever survive The comfort from pain be RELEASED? So you ask me if I know my Maker, | The,,Love and Peace of a Living God, HiJw else would I know the sad story? The road of suffering that Jesus did trod? For the cross that He bore up Calvary's hill In sorrow not counting the cost. How then can I see Him in memory's eye Giving His life for a world so lost?
