The Vacation Bible school (V.BS.) staff at the Chain O'Lakes Evangelical Covenant church is making final preparations for the summer bible school program which will be held during the week of Aug. 5 - 9. Children from ages 4 through eighth grade who live in the Sunnyside, Sunnyside Estates and Whispering Hills areas are especially invited to attend. Admission is free. The V.B.S. staff has planned a 9-11:30 a.m. schedule of Bible stories, craft projects, music, games and refreshments. DUMP CAKE 1 can crushed pineapple 1 can cherry pie filling 1 box of yellow or white cake mix (whichever you prefer) 1 cup of chopped pecans 1 stick of butter Grease and flour pan 9" by 13". Drain pineapple Put DineaDDle and cherries into pan, put cake mix in dry. Cover with pecans. Cut butter in pats and cover cake. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
