New Intern Joins Church Lynn Parsons of Omaha, Nebr., has joined the church staff at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, as the new intern. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has studied for the past two years at Wartburg seminary, Dubuque, Iowa. He has had experience as an announcer and programmer for radio and television stations in Omaha and in Dubuque, Iowa. Mr. Parsons will serve a one- year internship with the local parish to gain practical experience related to the life of a local congregation. He will assist Pastor Roger Schneider with feachine calling. preaching, , counseling and youth work in the parish program. Following one year of experience assisting with a parish progFam, he will return to Wartburg seminary for his senior year of studies prior to accepting a call to serve a parish of his own. His wife, Linda, is an experienced teacher of home economics. They will live at 811 Southgate in McHenry. Arthur Klgar, 8709 Memory, Wonder Lake, guilty of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, fined $35 and costs. Another charge of driving while intoxicated was nolle prossed. COMPLAINTS Officer John Langdon charges that on May 13, Dennis D. Frymark of 606 Kirk, Elgin, committed the offenses of criminal damage to property under $150, making a false report and duty upon damaging an unattended vehicle or other property. The complaints charge that Frymark was the driver of an automobile which damaged property at 3610 W. Elm street and then left the scene. Bond for the three charges wa^ set at $100.
