Miles told deputies he was east-bound on Lincoln road when he observed what he thought was a pick-up truck backing onto the roadway. As he applied his brakes, his vehicle went out of control. His 1962 car was demolished in the mishap which occurred Monday morning about 1:30. Lawrence J. Adams of 1910 W. Bay road, McHenry, was injured when the motorcycle he was driving hit a hole in the middle of Spring Grove road, throwing him off the 'cycle onto the roadway. The 'cycle slid 122 feet before coming to a stop. The accident occurred Sunday night about 10:15 at 4102 N. Spring Grove road, near Johnsburg. Adams was taken to McHenry hospital by the Johnsburg Rescue squad. Fifteen-year-old Robert E. Stark of 4811 West street, McHenry, made a left turn into a driveway directly into Schultheis' path. Miss Stark said her turn signals were not in operation and she did not see the other auto until impact occurred. Mrs. Arline Keizer of 3607 N. Middle street, McHenry, has recovered from injuries sustained in an accident that occurred on Rt. 120 and Hillside road. A car driven by her son, Daniel, in which Mrs. Keizer was a passenger, had stopped for traffic to turn. Their auto was hit in the rear by another car driven by Walter Dale of Lake Zurich, which was hit by a pickup truck driven by Allen Baker of Ingleside. Deaths CECELIA E KNOX Mrs* Cecelia E. Knox of 1513 Richmond road, McHenry , died Monday night, Sept. 16, in the VY ooustock Rcs'.dcncc. Her late husband, John R. Knox, was at one time mayor of McHenry and a prominent local business man for many years. Mrs. Knox, until recently, was engaged in the real estate business. Her parents were the late Henry and Suzanne (Roney) Geary. She is survived by a sister - in - law, Mrs. Frances Geary, nieces and nephews. The body will rest at the George R. JANET RUTH ALBRIGHT Janet Ruth Albright, 32, 30W509 Whitney road, West Chicago, died Sept. ii in Sherman hospital, Elgin, following an automobile accident. Mrs. Albright was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Woodstock. A former resident of Barrington she had lived in West Chicago for the past four years. She was employed as a sales clerk in the drapery department of Marshall Fields in Woodfield. She was a member of the Bethel Gospel church of Barrington. Among her survivors are her husband, Donald; two daughter, Donna Ruth and Susan Ann, and a son, James Orlando, all at home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Wright ; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Harney and Sara Wright; three brothers, John and Richard Wright, all of Wonder Lake, and William Wright of San Jose, Calif.; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Brown of Gibson City, 111.
