PRENTICE VACATION Mrs. Prentice of 2317 Lincoln Road and her three children, Timmy, Tina and Stacy, recently went on a vacation to visit their relatives in St. Louis, Mo. The Prentice family went down to St. Louis to visit Mrs. Prentice's parents, Virgie and Alonzo Baker, her little brother, Richard, and her sister, Phyllis, and her two little children, Darren, and Tracy, who are also from Missouri. They also visited Mrs. Prentice's grandmother, Myrtle Carter, from Elco, Dl. Her parents picked them up in Alton, and took them down to their home in St. Louis. They also visited her fitter in Arkansas and their new baby Christy which was only the second time they saw her. They visited her sister, Georgia, and her husband, Jerry Moffltt, and then went back to St. Louis. Then at the last minute when it was time for them to come back here Mrs Prentice's father decided to take the whole family back to Eastwood Manor seeing that he had a few days off work Mrs Prentice was really surprised and extremely happy for this was the first time her parents and other relatives had seen their new home in Eastwood Manor When back in mcHenry the Prentices showed their family the subdivision, they went to Melrose Park to visit Flossie McCullough They came here on August 28. and left early that following Friday morning for St Louis Mrs Prentice said it will be years before we ever do anything like this again and so glad we were able to do it when we did They had a picnic in their own backyard and were able to play with their own cousins there for the first time. How's that for a wonderful vacation, makes you happy just to read or write about it!!
