On Oct. 14, 1922, he married Vera Bumsted in Woodstock The deceased was a dairy farmer until his retirement in 1962. A F & A.M.. the Pure Milk Association, served on the Keystone grade school board for 21 years, was Rich­ mond township assessor from 1947-1965. and served on the McHenry County Board of Supervisors from 1965 to 1972 Besides his wife, Vera, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Mary Lou) Jensen.
