PAGE 3 - PLAINDEALER-WE West Shore Beach Connie Schmidt - 385-7841 EVERYBODY'S IN THE ACT -- The West Shore Beach Property Owners association, like most other subdivision organizations, cannot be termed affluent. Therefore, when there is a call for funds, members must use their ingenuity. That is just what one of the members did last week. Mrs. Sylvia VVasicak decided to use the Halloween season to trick-or-treat for the Mcllenry Rescue squad, now involved in a fund drive. Two-year-old Tony Wasicak helped his mother going door-to-door drive, which included the home of Joe Finiello, treasurer of the West Shore Beach association, shown above making his donation. In all, the Wasicaks collected $36.19 which is being turned over to the squad. STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD Sylvia VVasicak and her son. Children passing by were afraid that the raccoon would bite as it appeared very frustrated and angry. We're glad that we have people who care about harmful situations and pet control.
