They repeated their nuptial vows before the Rev. Joseph F. Kulak at a 2:30 afternoon Mass. The bride's parents are Mr and Mrs. Gerald Sullivan, Sr., of 1917 N. North avenue and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Zwierxynski, Sr., of 4506 Sussex, all of McHenry. The young people are making their home in the McHenry area. Members at­ tended in Halloween costumes. Mrs. Alice Rosberg petite chapeau, presided over the routine business and com­ mittee reports. Loretta Homo reported on the fall pouvoir held in Decatur. Alice Rosberg and Christine Nixon also attended. Loretta Homo received an award for chapeau passe nurses' scholorship report, and Helen Lang for children and youth report Helen Lang reported dolls and dolls clothing will be sent to National Jewish hospital in Denver. Members are to bring clothing, toys and films. Betty Paulin reported McHenry county salon has a partnership of twentv-nine. Reba Owen was appointed chairman of birthday cards to be sent to Jewish hospital Mae Chesak, assisted by Mabel Schultz, gave the finance report which was approved by the members. Members were urged to write to Senator McClory to set Veterans day back to Nov. 11. The next meeting will be held Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. at the McHenry Legion home. Members should bring dish to pass, also Christmas cookies and candy. Dessert and candy were served by Mae Chesak, Mabel Schultz, Maize Blott and Lois Hammond. PLAN BAZAAR. BAKE SALE - Rose Lillegard. left, and Janice Borchardt display some of the items which will be available at the bazaar and bake sale to be hosted by the McHenry Shores Social dub Nov. 9 at the village hall, 3211 Beach drive. Hours are frofn 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items will be priced from thirty cents up. The most unusual item is a three-piece wall plaque made from dominoei. pickup sticks and checkers. The largest item is a ive-ga terrarium. The bazaar is an undertaking of all residents of the village. Honor t PW State Auxiliary Head At Luncheon Catherine Whalen, president of the state of Illinois Ladies auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars, was honored at a luncheon Saturday in Chicago Lucille Garifi, who is president of the Ladies auxiliary to V.F.W. Post 4600. and Gerry Kuck, secretary, attended the luncheon, where auxiliary members attending were urged to attain 100 per­ cent in membership as soon as possible.
