Deaths EVA NOWAK Funeral rites were conducted vlonday afternoon in the (olssak chapel, Chicago, for drs. Eva Nowak, 83, of 3211 Chelmsford drive, Spring irove. Mrs. Nowak died Friday, Dec. 13, in McHenry lospital. Burial was in Ridgewood •emetery. Her husband, Charles, >receded her in death. Sur- /ivors ape two daughters, Mrs. Mary Warneck and Mrs. Dorothy Hansen of Spring 3rove, with whom she resided. She also leaves six grand- :hildren. MICHAEL N. MILLER Michael N. Miller, 81, was found dead in his home at 708 W. Sunset drive, Spring Grove, Thursday, Dec. 12, by a member of the family. A victim of homicide, an inquest is pending. Mr. Miller was born Aug. 7, 1893. He was a retired car penter and construction worker. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Mary) Smith of Spring Grove, and Mrs. Anna Miller of McCullom Lake; and two brothers, Joseph and Ben Miller of McHenry. Services were conducted Monday morning at the George Justen & Son chapel, with burial in Cole cemetery, Spring Grove. GEORGE E. PETERSEN George E. Petersen, 55, of 407 N. Mineral Springs, McHenry, was pronounced dead on arrival at McHenry hospital Saturday, Dec. 14, at 1:15 p.m. Mr. Petersen suffered the fatal heart attack while working with a friend. The deceased was born March 5, 1919. Survivors are his wife, Mary (Pate); six daughters, Mrs. John (Audrey) Miesner of Johnsburg, Mrs. Carol James of McHenry, Mrs. James (Mytha) Griffith, Chappell, Ky., Mrs. LeRoy (Susan) Walton of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Mary Plushkis of McHenry and Mrs. Glenn (Shirley) Meyers of Hawthorne, Calif.; three sons, Edward of Ingleside, James of Fox Lake, and George R. of McHenry; twenty-two grand children; one great grandchild; three brothers, Herman of Palatine. Manitou trail, died Dec. 15, at McHenry pospital. He was born in Bari, Italy, Dec. 3, 1892, and came to the United States in 1909. He was a retired elevator operator for an office building. He is survived by a grand daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jeseline) Dober of McHenry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, nee Rubino, May, 1920, and a son, Joseph, Nov. 5, 1974. Visitation was held at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home where services were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery, River Grove. MARGARETDEASY Margaret A. Deasy, 79, of 3710 Millstream drive, McHenry, died Dec. 15, in Pistakee Bay Nursing home. She was born in Limerick City, Ireland, May 1895, the daughter of Michael and Julia Ryan Ryan. A McHenry resident for the past 7 years, she had been employed by the Chicago Park district as a matron at a field house. Survivors include a son, John, Oak Park; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Helen) Bir mingham, McHenry; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Delia Ryan, of Limerick City, Ireland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick, in 1942. The body rested at the Peter M.
