Roepenack, 23, of 4814 N. Howard street, McHenry, was dead on arrival at McHenry hospital, Dec. 23, following an automobile accident. Born Sept. 16,1951, in Illinois, the daughter of William and the late Mildred E. Hansen Kunz, she was employed as a secretary in the office of City Clerk Earl Walsh since 1968. Among her survivors are her husband, Michael J.; a daughter, Jennifer, 3 years old; her father, William, and step­ mother Marge Kunz of Chicago; three brothers, William Kunz and Ronald Nelsen of McHenry, and Robert Nelsen, Ringwood. Visitation was scheduled for Thursday after 2 p.m. at the " Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. Services will be held there Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Herman Graef of the Zion Lutheran church officiating. Interment will be in McHenry County memorial Park, Woodstock. JOHN G.JONES John G. Jones, 75, 3102 Charlotte avenue, McHenry, died Dec. 24 in McHenry hospital. He was born in Madison Lake, Minn., March 28, 1899, the son of John M. and Clara E. Mandigo Jones. A resident of McHenry for 20 years, Mr. Jones was a retired office manager for Imperial Brass Co., Chicago. On Jan. 21, 1922, he married Gertrude H. Schoff in River Forest. Besides his wife, he is sur­ vived by a son, John M. of Hanover Park; one grandson; two brothers, Clifford of Aiken, Minn., and Daniel F., Aber­ deen, S.D.; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Stanley of Cresbard, S.D. There was no visitation. Memorial services for Mr. Jones will be held Sunday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist church, McHenry. Memorials may be made to the First Methodist church building fund or the cancer society. Arrangements were made by the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. AMANDA LOBITZ The widow of a well known Lutheran minister, Mrs. Amanda E. Lobitz, 80, of 3709 W. John street, died Christmas Day, Dec. 25, at Memorial hospital, Woodstock. She was born Dec. 28, 1893, in St. Louis. The Lobitzes came to McHenry 25 years ago from Easton, Kas. Rev. Carl A. Lobitz was pastor of Zion Lutheran church. He died June 27, 1967. Survivors include one son, Norman C.; two grand­ children; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Mueller of San Diego, Calif. Friends may call Friday from 4-9 p.m. at the Peter M. Justen and son Funeral home. Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at Zion Lutheran church with Rev. Herman Graef officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
