PAGE 4 - PLAINDEALElt-WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1975 West Shore Beach Connie Schmidt 385-7841 Nominations Requested For LPPOA Board Many residents who have already paid their dues did not return the small nomination form at the bottom of the financial statement received in the mail. Please find these notices and select those qualified persons for a position on our Property Owners association executive board. Usually each year in late September or October nominations for the next term were selected and voted upon by member residents. However, this year the procedure has been changed to accommodate every resident's nomination and in June all property owners will be sent a ballot. Make your choice now and exercise your right to nominate the people you think could do a good job for our subdivision. Clip the coupon and return it in the mail to our financial secretary, Helen Mohlman, or personally give it to an officer when you pay this year's dues. FISH DERBY HELP The McCullom Lake Con servation club meets this Thursday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. for a last minute reminder to area people who could volunteer their services the two derby days. The McCullom Lake village hall will be open for refreshments and they need concession stand workers. Help to sell fishing tackle is also needed along with outdoor helpers to keep fishing records, etc. Be a participant, too, and win many hourly and daily prizes on Feb. 22 and 23! YOUR SWEETHEART Only two days left to get that someone special a little card or gift of appreciation. It's always more fun to surprise someone else and make them feel you care. Express your love and affections to those close to you and make them feel good on this Valentine's day! READERS CALL A great appreciation to those six people who took time to respond to the readers' poll. They all expressed how much they liked to read our column. They were all within the 30 to 40 age group, which tells me that the younger people in our community either do not read the paper or do not know that a telephone can be used for an appreciative call. This poll only confirms the already existing apathy in our subdivision. CAUTION With the bad holes and ruts in our roads maybe drivers would take the time to drive 15 m.p.h. instead of anything over that speed. Caution may save that one child's life when he forgets to look both ways! You who need to remember, please slow down! PERSONALS Three big birthday wishes to Tony Wasicak, who had a wonderful party on Feb. 7 with his older brothers, Jim, Tom and Bob. Mommy Wasicak baked a delicious cake and dad brought home many surprises for Tony! On Feb. 7 Pat Bitterman celebrated her birthday, too, and had a fine evening out on the town! Many more Patty! A big hand to Mort Hagen who spent considerable time cleaning the ice for winter ice skaters!
