Leo Bartel, pastor, officiated at the ceremony, with dedication remarks by Gerald Klein, parish council chairman. A special tribute was extended to the Blessed Virgin Mary sodality, which made a gift of the sign for the church. Father Bartel is shown third from extreme right portion of photo. Foss of 1435 Rutledge street, Madison, Wis., was ticketed for "driver's view obstructed" following a rear end accident last Thursday morning about 6:40 on Elm street, just east of the Millstream bridge. Foss told police he was east- bound on Elm street in the extreme outside (parking lane). His windshield, which he had cleaned previously, became fogged and he couldn't see. He was preparing to pull over to clean the windshield when he suddenly noticed that the lane he was driving in ended at the bridge. He braked his auto and steered to the left to avoid the bridge rail and hit the rear of a car driven by Grace C. Blake of 3903 Oak avenue, McHenry, which was also east-bound on Elm. Larry C. Ackerman of 4804 Route 31, Ringwood, was taken to McHenry liospital by the Richmond Rescue squad following a one-car accident Saturday morning about 1:15 near Richmond. According to deputies, Ackerman said he was west­ bound on Tryon Grove road when he fell asleep and didn't remember what happened. Evidence indicated the car failed to negotiate a curve in the road, traveled into a ditch and hit a metal culvert under a driveway at 6506 Tryon Grove road. Ronald Himpelmann of 3611 N. Middle avenue, McHenry, escaped injury Saturday af­ ternoon when he lost control of his car on Johnsburg road. According to the report, Himpelmann was east-bound on Johnsburg road and failed to slow soon enough to make a left turn onto Riverside drive. His car went out of control, knocked down a highway sign and a mailbox and hit several small trees before coming to rest. A ticket for failure to yield was issued to Peter M. Scelsa of 7408 Tryon Grove road, Rich­ mond, following a truck-car accident last Friday morning about 11 o'clock. Edward A. Kattner of 801 Main street, Spring Grove, was west-bound on Tryon Grove road, when the Scelsa car pulled across his lane and they collided. Scelsa said he was backing, checked for traffic and then pulled across the roadway and was struck in the rear. Paul J. O'Brien of 908 N. Wood street, 'McHenry, escaped injury early Sunday morning when the left front tire of his auto blew while he was driving east-bound on Route 173, east of Alden. Neubauer of 2918 W. Virginia street, McHenry. He was charged with driving while intoxicated. According to city police, Neubauer's car slid into a ditch and when he tried to back out, he ran into a tree. When the car "died", the driver went home according to the report. Harold J. Sanford of 4604 Garden Quarter, McHenry, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he was ob­ served by city police driving in an erratic manner on Crystal Lake road and Hanley drive.
